StudioLine Web Designer 5 integrates components for the design, publishing and maintenance of professional websites in a common user interface page editor, image archiving and editing, graphic effects, publication control, template editor and page management.

Web design with integrated image editor and archive

Create collages, edit images and apply graphic effects directly in the page editor and see the results instantly. With Media Explorer, your media assets – photos, graphics, video and audio clips. Image tools (filters) are applied as needed when working on the layout of your website. Page templates allow you to precisely and consistently position design elements using rulers and guideline managers. Easily create menus and submenus for easy page navigation.

No knowledge of HTML programming

Use the page editor to add content to your pages. Arrange the text and images as needed until you are satisfied with the result. You can place content anywhere on the page using the various layout tools available. Of course, you can insert snippets of your own HTML if you ever need to.

Irregular image shapes

In StudioLine, images are not limited to rectangular shapes. The actual shape of the image defines the clickable area, not only in the StudioLine editor, but also on the published web page. This allows for complex image layering without the need to create and maintain traditional „image maps”.

Shadows, edges, transitions and rounded corners

No external image editing software or learning HTML or CSS syntax is required. With StudioLine you easily design your graphic elements using the integrated image tools.

Design elements

Use smart container objects called design elements to automatically arrange text and images in a grid. Various settings control layout rules such as horizontal and vertical alignment, spacing, and margins. With this information, StudioLine dynamically positions and aligns the contained texts and images to fit the available column width.

Professional image editing

Many image tools are available such as white balance, unsharp mask or RGB blend. All editing steps are non-destructive; they are stored in the database and the original image remains intact. A few quick steps and your photo collection will be displayed as a slideshow, published as a web gallery or burned to CD/DVD or emailed to a circle of friends.

Simple archiving

Categorize your images using unlimited text in system and user descriptors or by matching keywords and ratings. It is then easy to find specific pictures or images that match a specific theme.

Mobile sites

Creating websites for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Web effects created by StudioLine are optimized to work on all popular mobile internet devices.

Embed the presentation on the website

Simply adding or removing images in your MediaCentre is all you need to change images without having to manually update your website every time.
